Researched for nearly 10 years and recognised as a therapy by the British Complementary Medical Association (BCMA) it is endorsed by doctors and stress management facilitators as being safe, non invasive and effective. It is being used by mental health professionals worldwide and is proving successful in the education, health care and corporate sectors.
The main advantage of this approach is that there are no known side effects and it enables you to achieve a state of deep relaxation with relative ease.
People can attend classes or arrange for one-to-one sessions.
In a class, each person is provided with a set of disks to use during the session – the disks appear as concentric circles and provide a focus - you sit in a chair and listen to a guided relaxation which helps you to relax different parts of the body from the base of the spine to the top of the head.
The same basic process is used for one-to-one sessions, with the addition of an individual initial assessment. The guided relaxation can then be individually tailored following the outcome of the personal assessment.
